The number five shrimp and fries was truly delicious the sauce was delicious. Also this truly is a treasure. I have been eating at this location since the early days when this building was a portable building and they didn't have any fixed seating and now they have grown into the restaurant they have now quite a contrast. The shrimp is excellent. The staff is excellent. You will not want for anything. They take care of you here.
This is the next best place to the original Catfish restaurants on the lakes of East Te as. Food is great, service is great, this is now my favorite seafood place local to East Texas. After multiple trips, each time has been great.
We go to New Pier whenever we visit family in Longview. Always have great service & good food. Kinda small for a large group (our family is about 12-15 people), but still works for us.
I am a local and finally found the time to stop in and try their menu. it was so delicious. The food was seasoned perfectly and the service was exceptiona!!! We will definitely be back!
Just stopping in Gladewater on the way home to Texas. We stopped at New Pier for lunch/dinner and so glad we did. We ordered a cup of gumbo that was full of seafood and delicious. We ordered an order of onion rings to go along with our order of fried shrimp and fried oysters. Everything was so good and we really enjoyed it. We highly recommend this restaurant and we will return when we come back through. Thank you for a delicious lunch/dinner.

Crispy catfish and delicious remoulade! The shrimp were plump and delicious tasty too! Nice little spot to stop on our trek across east Texas.
Phenomenal food! Best seafood I've EVER had! Prices are worth it! I'm not even a big 'fish' person, but the catfish here is absolutely AMAZING! Sooooo good! Not greasy, very tender, just perfect! The shrimp are huge and perfectly fried! Would totally recommend to any and all!
